Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical office procedures, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review for all patients. Process medical collections and handle billing inquiries with professionalism. Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and coding systems. Assist in medical coding and documentation as needed to support billing processes. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and patient waiting room. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication. Address patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and office policies. Experience Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical office management practices, including health information management. Knowledge of medical coding, Medicare regulations, and documentation review processes is an asset. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and patient information. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members alike.
