This position will primarily focus on answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, managing voicemails, and communicating with patients by phone. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a professional phone manner, and the ability to stay organized in a busy medical office. Duties Answer incoming patient calls in a friendly and professional manner Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Monitor and return voicemail messages in a timely manner Make outbound calls to patients regarding appointments, follow-ups, and other office needs Take accurate messages and route calls to the appropriate team member Answer general questions regarding the practice, providers, services, and office policies Assist patients with scheduling appropriate appointments based on office guidelines Document phone calls and patient communications accurately in the electronic medical record Provide a positive and professional patient experience during all interactions Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Assist with other administrative duties as needed Skills & Qualifications Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Warm, friendly, and professional phone manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls Comfortable using computers and electronic medical record systems Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred Ability to communicate professionally with patients and staff Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
