Job Description
We are looking for a courteous and organized Medical Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, coordinating appointments, and keeping a medical office running smoothly. The person in this role will create a welcoming experience for visitors while ensuring administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors, assist with the check-in process, and serve as a helpful first point of contact for the office.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, update calendars, and help manage changes or follow-up visits in a timely manner.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to routine questions, and direct messages to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff.
- Maintain front-desk records, verify patient information, and support accurate documentation during each visit.
- Assist with general reception and administrative duties to keep daily office workflows organized and efficient.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointment details, office procedures, and basic intake requirements.
- Support office operations by handling routine clerical tasks and contributing to a smooth patient experience from arrival to departure.
