In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient records. Your expertise in dental terminology, medical billing, and office management will help streamline clinic operations and support exceptional patient care. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix , ensuring optimal patient flow Collect payments, process medical and dental billing, and perform accurate documentation review for treatment plans and insurance claims Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of sensitive health information Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and provide exceptional patient service Assist with intake procedures, dental coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and review documentation to support accurate billing and care plans Skills Extensive experience with software Dentrix Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical billing procedures Proficiency in insurance verification processes Exceptional customer service skills Experience working in a busy clinic environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and data security Ability to handle administrative tasks such as filing, documentation review, medical records management, and office management responsibilities Join our team where your skills will be valued!
