Dental Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator (Experienced Only) High-performing private dental office - Long Island, NY We're not looking for a "receptionist." We're hiring a front desk professional who can control a schedule, communicate value, and drive case acceptance. If you're confident discussing treatment, comfortable handling money, and know how to keep a day productive and organized—we want to talk. What You'll Be Responsible For Managing a productive, goal-driven schedule (not just filling holes) Insurance verification and breakdowns (accuracy matters) Presenting treatment and discussing financial options confidently Collecting payments and managing accounts receivable Handling high call volume and converting inquiries into appointments Keeping patients informed, on time, and under control—even on busy days What We're Looking For Minimum 2+ years dental front desk experience (required) Strong knowledge of insurance (PPOs, breakdowns, estimates) Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) Comfortable discussing fees and collecting payments Ability to stay calm, organized, and assertive under pressure Excellent communication skills—friendly but in control What Sets You Apart You don't avoid money conversations You know how to turn a phone call into a booked appointment You take ownership of the schedule and the day You can handle difficult patients without escalating situations Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience ( $25-$32/hr ) Bonus opportunities tied to office performance Paid time off and holidays Supportive, team-oriented environment Why This Position Matters This role directly impacts patient experience, doctor productivity, and office revenue.
