$21.00/hourSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM + 1-2 Saturdays per month, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM Medical Receptionist Opportunity A large, established medical practice is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join its Southampton, NY office. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients while supporting scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and daily office operations. You will work closely with physicians and the office manager in a busy, professional medical environment. 1-2 times per month, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM Responsibilities Greet and assist patients arriving at the medical office Schedule and manage patient appointments Register patients and enter demographic information accurately Verify insurance coverage Answer phones and assist patients with questions Pull, organize, and file medical charts Assist physicians and the office manager with administrative tasks Maintain an organized and professional front desk Provide a welcoming and positive patient experience Qualifications Previous medical receptionist, medical front desk, patient coordinator, healthcare administrative, or customer service experience preferred Knowledge of medical insurance is a plus Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach Medical office experience is preferred, but candidates with strong receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience who are interested in healthcare are encouraged to apply.
