Your expertise in medical administrative support, insurance verification, and EMR systems will help us deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient office operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Schedule appointments accurately using dental office management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring optimal patient flow. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth. Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history forms and reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy. Manage billing processes by performing medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), medical collection tasks, and Meditech or eClinicalWorks documentation review. Support clinic operations by filing medical records, managing electronic health records (EHR), and coordinating with clinical staff for care plans and documentation review. Experience Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical or dental office setting. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth. Familiarity with medical billing, medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), insurance verification, and health information management. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse patient populations. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prior experience working with hospital or clinic environments is preferred to ensure seamless integration into our healthcare team. $25.61 - $30.84 per hour
