Personalized care together with advanced technology is what it means to be Community Strong Responsibilities Responsible to greet patients, activate patient files, and move patients through predetermined protocols on a daily basis. Responsible for greeting incoming patients in a friendly and professional manner. All patients should be greeted upon arrival with a smile. Patients should be instructed to complete paperwork. Complete and accurate information should be obtained from the patient for billing and demographics purposes. Update patient demographics and insurance information as required. All incoming calls should be answered in a friendly and professional manner. All incoming calls should be answered before the third ring, and or timely. Accurate information should be communicated to the caller in a customer oriented manner. Calls should be routed to the intended recipient timely and accurately. Completes administrative duties that ensure the patient's visit is smooth, billing can be processed timely and accurately, and front office remains clutter free and organized. Co pays should be collected at the time of visit and in accordance with patient insurance guidelines. Insurance verification and eligibility must be done for every visit, and performed in accordance with practice protocol. Prepare referrals for patients as requested. Authorizations/referrals must be tasked in accordance with each office locations requirements based on providers at each location. Confirmation of future appointments. Email the census to Practice Manager daily. Maintain and adhere to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality policies set forth by St Johns Riverside Hospital. Maintain lobby/front desk cleanliness and well organized. Knowledge of
A minimum of 2 years medical office or healthcare facility experience. Strong pc skills along with knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding . Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). A Valid NY State Driver's license or ability to travel within Westchester County is required.

coding , as well as Workers Compensation/No Fault front end responsibilities (C4, MG2, etc.). Daily use of Electronic Practice Management System (currently MedGen) and adheres to all policies and procedures related to workflows in MedGen as well as appropriate use of MedGen. Attend business related meetings as requested. Assist within other areas of the practice when required. Provide customer service in accordance to clinic mission. Demonstrate ability to be courteous and respectful when interacting with patients, patient's family members/caregivers, co-workers, and all other individuals. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance to policy and procedure and HIPAA requirements. Enact proper chain of command for patient complaints, office and practice needs that require management input and awareness. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required, college preferred with a medical, business or healthcare focus.A minimum of 2 years medical office or healthcare facility experience.
