Overview:
Vitreo-Retinal Consultants, Inc. is a private practice ophthalmology group that specializes in the retina. We have seven fellowship-trained retinal specialists, four main locations, and multiple satellite and surgery centers. Since 1981, our vision has been to enhance each patient's quality of life by treating every patient with compassion, respect, and skill. We treat our employees with this same care and consideration. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist for our Canfield location. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with your experience.
Responsibilities:
Answering multi-line phones Patient registration Insurance verification Obtaining authorizations Appointment scheduling Charge entry and payment posting Qualifications and skills required for this position: Experience working in a medical office setting preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize "on the fly" Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Will travel to outlying offices (mileage reimbursed) Ability to pay attention to detail Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience Exceptional customer service skills Excellent verbal/written communication skills Professionalism Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
