Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring that all medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Update patient records in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage medical records, including updating patient information and ensuring that all medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls, processing patient payments, and distributing patient materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including the reception area, waiting room, and medical records room.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including preparing patient charts, updating patient information, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with patient intake and discharge processes, including reviewing patient records and ensuring that all necessary information is completed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient care is provided in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Skills:
Willingness to learn new skills with on the job training
