Summary:
We are currently hiring for a Medical Receptionist for our Hamilton location. In this position, you will greet clients and visitors entering our clinic, check clients in for their appointments, notify clinical staff of client's arrival, and other general front desk administrative duties. This position is full-time working Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with the possibility of occasional Saturdays 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and visitors to the office by greeting patients and visitors in person or over the telephone Answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff membersSchedules appointmentsAssists patients as necessaryTelephone taxis or family members when necessary for transportationMaintains reception area in a neat and orderly conditionAssists patients with insurance papers and billing questionsOpens and sorts office mail Delivers outgoing mail to the post office at end of dayParticipates in the medical office emergency routine when requiredSummons ambulance or EMS or assists other staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED is requiredAt least two-years of training or experience in customer service and office work Computer proficiency strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently Good organizational skills.
