You will manage appointment scheduling, handle patient inquiries, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate medical records—all while supporting the clinical team with efficient administrative support. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and guiding them through check-in procedures Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments using electronic health record (EHR) Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process claims efficiently to facilitate smooth billing processes Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately Support clinical staff by handling administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, copying, and managing electronic health information securely in compliance with HIPAA policies Manage and schedule New Patients Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office administrative role; clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems preferred Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing preferred) Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person while maintaining professionalism and empathy Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in making a difference by providing outstanding administrative support that enhances patient care experiences. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
