Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team at a busy dental office. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
  • Collect and record patient information, including medical history and insurance details
  • Maintain patient records and update as necessary
  • Assist with billing and financial transactions
  • Manage office supplies and inventory
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Skills:
  • Proficient in dental office systems and software, Eaglesoft.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and managing paperwork
  • Ability to work effectively
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
