Job Description

Position :
Front Desk Coordinator with some light ​Dental Assistant Duties. Dental Assistants are welcome to apply especially if you are more interested in the front desk role.
Status :
Full-Time (Monday through Friday)
Compensation :
$16 to $27/hr depending on years of experience, certifications (ie DANB, Coronal Polishing, Sealant Placement, Nitrous), and Plus Production Bonus.
Bonuses:
$80
  • $800/month based on production after 90 days training period.

Alpha Dental is seeking applications for a reliable and motivated Dental Front Desk Coordinator to work in an established dental practice and add to our current team. Because Alpha Dental harbors a friendly, motivated, and a team oriented environment, applicants are expected to possess qualities that are similarly aligned. Applicants must be able to tune into details while balancing service quality with efficiency. Since communication is key in a fast-paced/high volume practice, applicants are required to share knowledge and pass information quickly and effectively
  • all to promote a fluid work environment. One of the most important functions of our front desk coordinator is to keep the schedule productive and make sure the patients charts are organized
  • -coupled with excellent customer service and relations. Along with the aforementioned requirements, it is also expected that the coordinator:
  • Helps to fill and organize the schedule for both General and Surgery teams
  • Call/text patients to keep a smooth line of communication
  • Offer treatment amounts to the patient and help them get financed
  • Follow up with surgery patients to make sure everything is ready by the time or their surgery
  • Have excellent chairside skills
  • Maintain Front Desk/Clinical Checklist (including spore tests)
  • Audit chart notes
  • Patient financing and payment arrangements
  • Maintain payroll notes
  • Possess productivity and accuracy management skills
  • Be open to a long term commitment
  • ultimately to grow with the practice
  • Be punctual
  • Be able to communicate effectively with patients (good customer service skills)
  • Be able to work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Have a high motivation for patient care
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminologies
  • Adaptable to dental software (strong knowledge of Open Dental is a plus)
  • Entering Treatment Plans into dental software
  • Work along the billing department and the assistants to make sure that scheduled patients are indeed ready to be seen.
  • Turn over patient rooms
  • Discharge surgery patients and provide post-op instructions This position would be perfect for you if: You like to be awarded with bonuses for your achievements.
