At Summit Health and Wellness Center, we provide compassionate, holistic psychiatric care to individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults—throughout Oklahoma. We offer both in-person and telemedicine services, focusing on personalized treatment plans that address root causes, build on personal strengths, and develop healthy coping strategies. As our Medical Office Receptionist, you're the first impression of our practice. You'll manage the flow of our front office while creating a calm, friendly, and professional environment for patients and staff alike.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers Verify insurance and obtain necessary authorizations Collect co-pays and process payments accurately Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and information Perform administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, faxing, and filing Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Insurance Knowledge High school diploma or equivalent required
