Responsibilities:
Greet patients in a pleasant and professional manner Answer phones Check patients in/out Charge entry, collecting patient co-pays/balances Schedule office visits and procedures for new and existing patients Manage referrals Verify insurance eligibility/authorizations Entering patient demographics Chart prep, filing, scanning and indexing Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Epic or other electronic medical records system a plus. Experience working with insurance and pre-authorizations a plus. Must be highly organized, able to adapt to change, able to work under busy and/or stressful situations while ensuring the best possible experience for our patients and able to work with physician teams to ensure proper clinic flow.
