Job Description

Medical Receptionist - Full-Time Position at Axis HealthCare, Sapulpa, OK Axis HealthCare, a leader in providing patient-centered care, is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at our Sapulpa, Oklahoma clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor. Schedule patient appointments and manage the provider's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages accurately. Verify and update patient information, including insurance details, in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents. Process payments and provide receipts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or certification in medical administration is a plus. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred. A compassionate and professional attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Rate:
$16 - $19 per hour, based on experience.
