Part-Time Schedule:
Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our skilled nursing facility on weekends. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, families, hospitals, and other healthcare providers while supporting the daily administrative needs of the facility. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously. Greet visitors and direct them to resident rooms and appropriate departments. Ensure all visitors sign in and follow facility visitation procedures. Retrieve and provide resident records or documentation for hospitals and authorized healthcare providers, following HIPAA guidelines. Answer general questions from visitors, families, and callers. Maintain the reception area in a clean and organized manner. Provide administrative support to nursing and office staff as needed. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous receptionist, customer service, or medical office experience preferred. Experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic medical records. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
