Job Description
Required:
- 1 year customer service experience
- Computer skills
- typing and data entry
- Professional appearance
- Strong multi-tasking skills
Preferred:
- High school diploma/GED
- 1 year medical office experience
Duties Include:
- Greet the public, assist individuals in becoming established patients and keeping information up to date on established patients
- Communicate with office staff to allow for an efficient running office
- Answer multi-line telephone systems, document messages, transfer to appropriate staff and triage for urgency
- Working knowledge of insurance plans and identifying copays to be collected, post patient payments and reconcile daily (employer has software that assists with this process)
- Appointment rescheduling as needed
- Checking patients into appointments and scheduling their follow-up appointments along with transmitting any diagnostic imaging or laboratory orders
Hours:
- Business is open Monday
- Thursday, 8:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m.
- Noon
