Orthodontic Front Office Receptionist

Job Summary Our private orthodontic practice is seeking an outgoing, friendly, detail-oriented team player with outstanding communication skills. We need someone who is dependable, enthusiastic, compassionate, articulate, and enjoys challenges. You will work in a modern, state-of-the-art orthodontic office with an all-star team. As a key member of our front office, the successful candidate will set the tone for the patient experience while providing exceptional service to our patients and families from beginning to end. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to help out the team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Greet all patients and families with a warm and friendly smile Schedule appointments and manage calendar efficiently Answer phones with enthusiasm and a smile that can be heard Accurately post insurance and patient payments Enter data and generate reports using orthodontic practice management software (Ortho2 Edge) Collaborate with doctor and clinical staff to ensure smooth operations within the office Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines to protect patient information Perform additional duties as back-up Treatment Coordinator when needed

Qualifications :

High school degree or GED Must possess a strong work ethic, be outgoing and energetic Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and a team player High computer proficiency and superior typing skills Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability, and promptness Professional in appearance and attitude Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a medical/dental setting 1+ years of experience working in any high-volume/high-intensity service industry (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, hospital, medical office or retail environment) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Schedule The workdays are Monday through Thursday.
