We are looking for someone who is positive, has great attention to detail, and provides exceptional customer service!
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
If you are a new college graduate who is unsure where to take your career, this is a great entry point into healthcare. We have numerous employees who started out as Front Office Coordinators and later transitioned to specialize in other aspects of the organization. The ability to learn insurances, referrals and complex scheduling protocols is a must. Must be customer service oriented, patient, empathetic and kind.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Delivering excellent customer service for our musculoskeletal patients, this may include greeting, rooming or registering patients. Detail oriented so that you accurately verify intake information, such as demographics, insurance to ensure the accuracy of the patient's account/chart. Collect co-payments and cash payments for DME, etc. and maintaining accurate accounting of all monies collected each day through periodic balancing of batches. Schedule patients using guidelines provided for each provider's areas of expertise. Processing inbound referrals. Scanning and directing fax, mail, and electronic communication. Prepping and reviewing charts for the next day to ensure information is accurate and the appropriate forms attached. Setting up patient access to our portal.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $21.00/hour, up to $24.00/hour depending on experience in medical office reception. Generous benefit package
