Job Description

Job Summary Pittsburgh Endocrinology is seeking a friendly, organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain efficient office operations, and help create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is detail-oriented and can thrive in fast-paced medical office setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and clerical skills in a dynamic environment. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Check patient in and out accurately Verify demographics and insurance information Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately Schedule, reschedule and confirm appointments Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Maintain accurate electronic medical records - scan, upload and organize patient documents; manage incoming faxes and correspondence. Experience Prior office experience (Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred) Experience with electronic medical records preffered Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with phone etiquette, data entry, filing, proofreading, and customer service is highly desirable Knowledge of office management procedures and clerical tasks such as calendar management, personal assistant responsibilities, or medical/dental receptionist experience is beneficial Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while honing your administrative expertise!

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
