Job Description

LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST TO CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT PATIENTS IN A MEDICAL SPECIALISTS OFFICE.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist for our Front Desk at a busy Medical Specialists Office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of medical administrative support. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient service, managing appointment scheduling, and ensuring smooth office operations. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA regulations, and delivering a welcoming environment for all patients and visitors. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice. Schedule appointments using EHR (Electronic Health Records) We use eClinicalWorks. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification to facilitate smooth billing processes. Collect co pays for current visit and any outstanding balances that are due. Support office management tasks such as inventory control of office supplies and Uphold HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times while managing sensitive health information Experience with insurance verification processes including Medicare and private insurers. Excellent customer service and communications skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Professional appearance and phone etiquette complemented by strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
