Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented experienced Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent patient service in a dental office environment. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and administrative support. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Manage patient scheduling, including appointment confirmations and follow-ups. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle Dental billing and coding tasks. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients. Assist in the documentation review process for care plans and treatment notes. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Open Dental or similar. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure smooth office operations. Address patient inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with Dental terminology, and health information management is essential. Proficiency in EMR systems, including Dentrix or Open dental software. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of dental collection processes and insurance verification procedures. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Strong typing skills with 10-key proficiency is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
