Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, verifying insurance information, scheduling, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the medical office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details. Maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process incoming calls using multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Assist with insurance verification and documentation review. Support medical administrative tasks such as filing, typing, and clerical duties. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care delivery. Utilize EMR system, MEDENT, for patient management. Skills Proficient in medical terminology Strong computer skills Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse patients. Previous clinic or hospital experience preferred Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Experience with medical collection processes is an advantage.
