Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth daily operations by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software Handle billing inquiries with accuracy Manage electronic health records (EHR system) - Opendetnal - to ensure precise documentation review and data entry Proficient with computer Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies and health information management standards Assist with medical coding including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 codes, and Medicare documentation to support billing processes Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry, typing,calculations, and office organization tasks Requirements Proven experience in a medical or dental front desk setting with strong knowledge of dental procedures Familiarity with Opendental Knowledge of health insurance processes, claims submission, and collections Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical confidentiality policies, and health information management practices Excellent customer service skills combined with effective phone communication and professional demeanor Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for administrative support tasks Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous dental office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with billing and coding is a plus Join our team where your energy fuels exceptional patient experiences!
