Job Description
We are a family-owned business focusing on our clients to insure stronger customer connections. We are a Physical Therapy clinic serving Berks County, PA since 2019. We successfully treat a wide range of diagnoses, from young children to older adults. Our patients experience dramatic improvements and our practice has grown through word of mouth and patient referrals. We have bilingual staff and are looking to expand. Job schedule will be from 2pm-7pm, Monday to Friday. Duties
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment and event calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Call patients to remind them of their appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect/track necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Update records for authorization, referrals, and insurance, as needed
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Light cleaning duties Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Bilingual:
English and Spanish (communicate with patients)- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
