Job Description
Pay:
$27 to $32 per hour to start, based on experienceSchedule:
Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Thursday hours are flexible as neededBenefits:
Health insurance, accrued sick leave and vacation options, and in-house dental care About the Opportunity We are a small, patient-centered private dental practice looking for an experienced front office coordinator who enjoys helping people feel welcome, understood, and well cared for. This is a hands-on, solo front office role for someone who can work independently, keep the day organized, and help the practice continue to grow. You will often be the first and last person our patients interact with, so warmth, good judgment, and a calm presence are important. We are looking for someone who can build genuine relationships while also guiding patients through scheduling, treatment, and financial conversations with clarity and confidence. What You Will Do- Welcome patients and create a positive experience from the first phone call through checkout
- Build and manage the schedule thoughtfully to support patients, the team, and practice goals
- Verify insurance, enter treatment, and send claims through DentalXChange
- Present treatment plans and help patients understand their care and financial options
- Schedule appointments, collect payments, manage email, and maintain the hygiene recall list
- Handle questions, outstanding balances, missed-appointment fees, and concerned patients with empathy and professionalism
- Keep front office systems and daily tasks organized, current, and moving forward What You Bring
- At least five years of dental front office experience
- A warm, clear communication style and a genuine desire to care for people
- Strong organization, follow-through, dependability, and the ability to work independently
- Confidence discussing treatment, finances, and practice policies in a positive and respectful way
- Experience with Open Dental preferred; XDR Imaging experience is a plus Support for the Role Remote administrative support handles payment posting, monitors accounts receivable, and follows up on unpaid claims.
Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 36.0 per weekBenefits:
