Medical Receptionist/Check Out

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Check-Out Medical Receptionist to join our busy cardiovascular office. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient check-out process for patients while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients at check-out and provide a friendly, professional experience Schedule follow-up appointments, testing, and orders for procedures Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information Review provider instructions with patients and ensure understanding of next steps Coordinate referrals and obtain necessary insurance referrals as needed Answer phones and assist with general front desk duties as required Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow
