Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Transcriptionist/Secretary, where your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring accurate documentation and seamless administrative support for medical professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your transcription skills with administrative duties, contributing to efficient patient care and practice operations. Duties Transcribe dictated medical reports, notes, and correspondence with high accuracy and attention to detail Manage and organize medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations Schedule appointments, coordinate patient follow-ups, and handle incoming calls professionally Prepare and maintain correspondence, forms, and other administrative documents for physicians and staff Verify medical information by reviewing charts, test results, and other relevant data Assist with billing processes, insurance documentation, and data entry tasks as needed Support the medical team by facilitating smooth communication between patients, providers, and external agencies Skills Proven experience in medical transcription with excellent command of medical terminology Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately interpret clinical notes Familiarity with medical office procedures and administrative practices Exceptional typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed Ability to understand complex medical reports and transcribe them clearly Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems or similar software is a plus Excellent organizational skills combined with attention to detail and confidentiality This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute their transcription expertise while supporting healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
