Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Community Quick Care - La Vergne, TN Community Quick Care is seeking a dependable, friendly, and organized Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Team Member to join our busy primary care and urgent care practice in La Vergne, Tennessee. The Medical Receptionist is often the first and last person our patients interact with, so we are looking for someone who provides excellent customer service, communicates professionally, works well under pressure, and helps keep the front office running efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient questions Schedule and confirm appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Collect copays, deductibles, and patient balances Scan and enter documents and information into the electronic medical record Assist with patient registration and required forms Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and other front-office team members Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Help manage patient flow in a busy medical office Complete other administrative and front-office duties as assigned
Qualifications Preferred:
Previous medical receptionist, medical office, or healthcare front-desk experience Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Experience verifying insurance eligibility and collecting patient payments Knowledge of basic medical terminology We are also willing to consider candidates with strong customer-service experience who demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
