Description Summary:
Provides administrative and secretarial support to one or more nursing units and serves as a point of contact for staff, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare organizations.

Greeting and directing visitors, relaying information and messages to patients and medical staff, and facilitating communication between the care unit and other healthcare providers.
Answering telephones, distributing mail, preparing and filing paperwork, and ordering and storing supplies.
Maintaining and updating patient records; preparing admission and discharge paperwork
Filing test and lab reports within medical records.
Coordinating patient services by scheduling tests, treatments, and consultations for patients and arranging for patient transfers.
Performs administrative activities in compliance with all regulations.
Requirements:
Education/Skills High School Diploma Experience A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
