Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
All front desk duties including answering phones, scheduling, treatment plan presentation etc Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims Collect payments from patients and provide them with receipts Submit dental claims to insurance companies online, by mail and by fax. Review EOBs to ensure all procedures are paid correctly and on time Work aging report to ensure all claims are paid Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures, including knowledge of dental terminology and treatment codes
  • Proficiency in using office software programs, such as Dentrix
  • Experience with electronic dental records
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail We offer competitive pay based on experience.
