Medical Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator Are you energetic, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment? We are seeking a high-energy, bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Receptionist/Front Office Coordinator who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and keeping a busy medical practice running efficiently. This position is much more than answering phones—it is the first impression of our practice and a critical part of delivering an exceptional patient experience. We're looking for someone who is proactive, thinks critically, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and takes ownership of their work. Responsibilities Welcome every patient with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm. Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing exceptional customer service. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maximizing provider schedules. Manage multiple communication platforms including phone, email, text messaging, and patient portals. Verify patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collect patient payments and answer basic billing questions. Coordinate with providers, medical assistants, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. Assist patients with paperwork, check-in, check-out, and insurance information. Support marketing initiatives by helping communicate practice services and special events. Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office environment. Order and maintain office supplies. Identify workflow problems and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. What We're Looking For We want someone who: Brings positive energy and professionalism every day. Is bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Qualifications Previous experience working in a primary care or medical office front desk preferred. Experience with electronic health records (eCW experience is a plus). Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism. Comfortable using multiple computer applications simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Medical billing or insurance verification experience. Knowledge of scheduling software and patient communication platforms. Experience with digital communication, texting platforms, and patient engagement tools. Marketing or social media experience is a plus.
