Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in a dental office and possess strong administrative skills.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Schedule appointments efficiently, taking into account patient preferences and practitioner availability. Answer phone calls and emails promptly, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Verify insurance coverage and process payments accurately. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate with dental staff to optimize scheduling and workflow. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management. Ability to present treatment plans to patients and answer questions. Educate patients on treatment plans and financial options
Skills:
  • Prior experience working in a dental is preferred
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and medical records systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
