Job Description
Job Summary Responsible for the performance of various front office duties in a highly accurate manner. Re sponsibilities Provide outstanding customer service to our patients and the public. Check patients in to the Dentrix and Centricity system. Answer phone calls, provide appropriate assistance, and redirect calls appropriately. Verify patient demographic information (e.g., address, phone number) at every visit Estimate patient's portion of services by using appropriate insurance fee schedule or sliding fee scale. Work as a liaison between the clients and the dental providers. Follow established policies and guidelines for processing patients to be seen. Verify Insurance eligibility. Collect and track data necessary for patient follow-up and reporting Adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Req ui reme nt s Computer; calculator; time management; computer spreadsheet skills. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, strong numerical aptitude. Initiative; flexibility; ability to effectively address multiple tasks requiring attention to detail; problem identification, analysis, and resolution. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; ability to function with autonomy and minimal supervision. Ability to manage confidential records and information. Excellent communication and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail. Educational Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
