Medical Receptionist/Front Desk

Retina practice seeking a full-time medical receptionist with knowledge in patient check in / out, insurance verification, collection of copays, deductibles, and / or coinsurance, answer multiple phone lines, and schedule appointments. Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently, multi-task, and be extremely organized. The position requires a person with outstanding communication skills including a pleasant demeanor, positive attitude, tact, patience, flexibility, the ability to multitask, and prioritize. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship and customer service skills (compassion, empathy). Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2+ years' medical office experience. Ophthalmology strongly preferred but not required. Bilingual in Spanish.
