- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As a Unit Secretary, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care every day. You will create a welcoming, organized space where patients and families feel valued and informed. You will use clear, compassionate communication and attention to detail to keep the unit running smoothly and caring for others like family - one shift at a time.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- + Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supported + Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information + Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected + Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort + Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork •What qualifications you will need:•+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + 1+ years hospital experience preferred •Benefits•Medical City Dallas, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
