Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing receptionist tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and courtesy. Experience with office software, multi-line phone systems, and customer support is highly valued. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse client base. Duties Greet visitors and clients promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming environment Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and document proofreading to ensure information integrity Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and postal mail Support office management functions, including supply inventory and organization of office supplies Provide excellent customer service support by addressing inquiries efficiently and professionally Assist with clerical tasks such as typing, data entry, and document preparation Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing customer interactions both in person and over the phone Insurance verification Qualifications Knowledge of insurance prior authorizations Knowledge of insurance verification prior to scheduling patient appointments Experience scheduling patients across multiple provider schedules EMR (Eclinical works "ECW") knowledge preferred TMS scheduling and coordination preferred Prior experience as a medical receptionist preferred. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and data entry Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively and demonstrate professional phone etiquette Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines is beneficial This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and customer service excellence are valued. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining an efficient office operation while providing outstanding support to clients and team members alike.
Pay:
$12.00 - $18.00 per hour
