Medical Receptionist

Duties:

Qualified applicants may be responsible to greet patients, enter new patient information, check patients in and out, verify insurance coverage, answer telephones, schedule appointments on the computer, collect co-payments, and various other clerical duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must have at minimum one year previous medical front office experience preferably in Orthopedics. Qualified candidates must have excellent people and telephone skills and be familiar with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, knowledge of HMO's, PPO's and various insurance plans. You must have excellent typing and math skills, ten key by touch and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. NextGen EPM/EMR experience is a plus.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
