Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. Your expertise in medical administrative support, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and electronic health record (EHR) systems will help streamline clinic operations and enhance patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments efficiently using EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Verify insurance coverage, process payments Maintain accurate medical records by reviewing documentation, updating patient files, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette; assist patients with inquiries and appointment rescheduling Manage patient intake processes, including collecting demographic information and updating health histories Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans, reviewing documentation, and assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a medical office setting with strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Advance MD Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and record management Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Experience working in medical clinics Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to delivering exceptional patient service!
