About the
Role:
CardioClinic in Richmond, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in patient experience while working alongside dedicated medical professionals in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information in the EMR system Answer and route incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries promptly Coordinate referrals and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Ensure front desk area is organized, stocked, and HIPAA compliant at all times
Requirements:
Prior front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software Knowledge of insurance verification and basic medical billing processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment High school diploma or equivalent required; medical administrative certification a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply
