Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for helping patients by providing excellent customer service and resolving issues. Responsibly Responsible for conducting eligibility screenings, assessment of patient financial requirements, and counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments Screen and evaluate patients for existing insurance coverage. Re-verify benefits and obtains authorization and/or referral after treatment plans have been discussed, prior to initiation of treatment. Ensures appropriate signatures are obtained on all necessary documents Checking patient in and out of their appointment with providers Document progress notes to the patient's file and the office computer system. Participate in ongoing, comprehensive training programs as required. Scheduling appointments and follow up as needed for the patient. Selling and ordering health products for patients. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience in the medical field, customer service, or other related fields minimum 2-years Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to prioritize and multitask Positive and professional demeanor Excellent communication skills Experience and skills required Excellent written and spoken English, Spanish (bilingual preferred but not required) A good telephone manner, ability to handle a high call volume Great face-to-face people skills Computer skills Effective organizational, time management, facilitation, and prioritization skills The ability to communicate with people of all levels within a business A true team player and strong department leader Persistence, drive, and enthusiasm

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
