We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical Office Checkout to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office, and able to provide excellent customer service to our patients. Responsibilities Check patients in and out in a professional and friendly manner Schedule and confirm patient appointments Answer and direct phone calls Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient payments Verify insurance information and patient demographics Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, payments, and insurance Maintain accurate patient records Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and office staff Multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment Qualifications Previous medical office, front desk, or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of health insurance terminology and benefits is required Understanding of copays, deductibles, coinsurance, referrals, and authorizations Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly, welcoming, and professional personality Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and a team player Professional appearance and attitude Computer proficiency and ability to learn office software What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, organized, dependable, and a strong multitasker .
