Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs all clerical and receptionist functions for the Rural Health Clinic. Acknowledges and responds appropriately to the hospital's customer relations philosophy, including the five fundamentals of the AIDET program.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.
Acts as a receptionist/secretary for the clinic. 2. Maintains clinic records/files. 3. Assumes responsibility and is self-motivated. 4. Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
High School graduate or equivalent. Typing skills - 40 words per minute minimum, ten-key skills. Operate calculator, photocopier, fax machine, multiple line phones. Computer skills necessary.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work eight hours, sit for extended periods of times (2 hours); bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level; lift supplies weighing less than 35 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Must be flexible. Regularly scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Exposure to sick patients, equipment and staff noise and interruption. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Understand and honor requirements of patient confidentiality.
