Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires excellent phone etiquette, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with medical coding and scheduling.
MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE. APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE DENTAL AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF DENTAL EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage incoming calls, taking payments, providing information and scheduling appointments effectively. Maintain patient records by filing documents accurately and ensuring all information is up to date. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and billing tasks. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the day. Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, and office policies. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. Qualifications Proven dental experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a dental or medical setting. Strong phone etiquette with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with dental scheduling and coding practices is highly desirable. Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Knowledge of Medicaid processes and requirements is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional patient care.
