You will be responsible for managing patient check-ins and check-outs, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage appointment scheduling using Open Dental. Verify patient insurance information and ensure HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary dental supplies in accordance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Answer multiple phone lines, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate team member Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, coverage, deductibles, copayments, and annual maximums Prepare insurance estimates and explain expected patient financial responsibilities before treatment Explain treatment costs, payment options, financing arrangements, and insurance benefits to patients.
