Our focus is on delivering personalized, comprehensive treatment in a welcoming environment. Overview We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in patient service, administrative support, and office management within a busy dental clinic. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience while supporting efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism and courtesy. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using systems such as Dentrix Schedule appointments accurately utilizing dental practice management software and coordinate patient flow effectively. Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and provide excellent customer service to patients and providers. Assist with billing processes Support office management tasks such as filing, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff regarding care plans and treatment instructions. Ensure the clinic environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with health information management standards. Experience Prior experience as a dental receptionist in a clinical setting is required; dental clinic experience is highly preferred. Experience with dentrix is required. Bilingual Spanish is required.. Phlebotomy and esthetician experience is a plus. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute is desirable. Exceptional phone etiquette, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
