Join Our Team Metropolitan ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery is a well-established, multi-specialty practice serving Northern Virginia for nearly 30 years. Our practice includes ENT, Audiology, Allergy, Facial Plastic Surgery, Physical Therapy, and Advanced Wellness services. We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator (Medical Front Desk) who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a busy medical office, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment, can confidently multitask, and is committed to creating an exceptional experience for every patient. Primary Responsibilities Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth. Answer multi-line phones and provide outstanding customer service. Register patients and accurately update demographic information. Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals or authorizations when needed. Schedule appointments for multiple providers and specialties. Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances. Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record. Prepare patient charts and ensure required documentation is complete. Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff, and patients. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of recent medical front desk experience . Experience scheduling patients in a medical practice. Experience verifying insurance eligibility. Comfortable collecting patient payments. Strong computer and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. Preferred Experience in a specialty medical practice. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW), Phreesia, or Availity. Bilingual (English/Spanish). This Position May Not Be the Right Fit If You Prefer a slow-paced work environment.
