Front Desk Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a part time medical receptionist to be at the Vienna and Centerville locations. Looking for coverage onTuesdays/Thursdays in Vienna in the fall and some Mondays and Wednesdays and Fridays in Centreville. Two years of experience in a medical office setting is required. Please do not apply if you do not have front desk medical experience. Billing experience is recommended. This is a long term position. Please do not apply if you are a student interested in a summer job only. Thanks.

Tasks include:

• Greet patients professionally both in person and on the phone.
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Collecting co payments and patient balances
• Verifying Insurance
• Scanning information (new patient paperwork, eye exams, etc) into patient files
• Being a good communicator
• Being able to multi-task.
• Willing to cross-train.
• Must be proficient on the computer with basic computer skills.
